Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 October 2026

Rihland is an independent personal project run by Fahd Al-Antaroh (“I”, “we”, “us”). It runs rihland.com, a streaming site for animated stories and films, including the Quran Vault and Osmanlıca Vault projects. I am the person responsible for your personal data. This page explains what personal data we collect, why, who helps us handle it, and what you can ask us to do. Contact: info@rihland.com.

What we collect

  • Account data: your email address, your name, and your password (stored hashed by our sign-in provider, never readable by us). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.
  • Wallet and purchase data: your Gold Dinar (credit) balance, which series you unlocked, and the history of credits bought and spent. When you buy credits, our payment provider shares your email, the order amount and the order number. We never see or store your card number.
  • Things you save: films and series you save with the bookmark or heart button.
  • Email preferences and sign-ups: whether you opted in to the newsletter, and the email you give to be notified when a series launches.
  • Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) kept by our hosting and video providers for security and delivery.
  • Messages you send us through the contact form or by email.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

  • To create and run your account, unlock content, and process purchases: needed to provide the service you asked for (contract).
  • To send you service emails, such as order receipts, password resets and notices about content you unlocked: contract and legitimate interest.
  • To tell you about new Rihland projects and releases: our legitimate interest in telling existing users about our work, and your consent where you opted in. Every such email carries a way to opt out.
  • To keep the site secure and prevent abuse: legitimate interest.
  • To meet tax and accounting rules for purchases: legal obligation.

Who handles your data

We use these providers to run the site. They process data on our behalf:

  • Supabase: database and sign-in.
  • Netlify: website hosting.
  • Bunny.net: video delivery.
  • Resend: sending email.
  • Lemon Squeezy: payments. It acts as the seller of record and handles sales tax and VAT, under its own terms and privacy policy.
  • Google: optional “Sign in with Google”.
  • PayPal: optional donations.
  • YouTube: some pages embed YouTube videos, which may set YouTube’s own cookies when played.

Some of these providers are based outside your country, including in the United States. By using the site you understand your data may be processed there under those providers’ safeguards. We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for advertising.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this page and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep account data while your account exists. Purchase and transaction records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require, even after an account is deleted. Server logs are kept by our providers for a limited period.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR or Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law), you can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, receive a copy, or withdraw consent. Email info@rihland.com from the address on your account. We aim to reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Deleting your account: email us with the subject “Delete my account”. We will delete your profile, saved items and email preferences, and keep only the records we are legally required to keep. Unspent credits are forfeited when an account is deleted, so spend or ask about them first.

Unsubscribing from emails

Reply “stop” to any Rihland announcement, or use the unsubscribe option your email app shows next to the sender. We will stop project and newsletter emails. You will still receive essential service emails, such as receipts and password resets.

Children

Rihland is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you are under the age at which you can consent to data processing in your country (13 to 16, depending on where you live), you need a parent’s permission to create an account.

Security

We restrict access to personal data, keep our database private, and use encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data in a way the law requires us to report, we will notify you and the relevant authority.

Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell registered users by email.
